Our team of Farm Analysis Specialists is educated and highly trained to assist members in:

- Comparing costs & returns
- Examining alternative plans for farm business management
Economic Analysis.
An economic analysis of the farm business is available to members and includes:
- Financial statements
- Cost & return analysis
- Comparative benchmarking (to farm businesses similar in size and type)
Financing & Tax Assistance.
Members receive various documents and forms to use in decision-making and to provide to lenders and tax professionals. These include:
- Balance sheets
- Accrual income statements
- Completed farm income tax worksheets
Continuing Education.
Specialists provide continuing education to members, including:
- Record keeping
- Labor management
- Farm taxes
- Succession planning
- Management decision-making
Personal Contact.
Members have access to a Farm Analysis Specialist through scheduled farm and office visits and by individual contact.
Cost
The University of Kentucky and member farmers share in the cost of the KFBM Program. The local board of directors for each region determines membership dues and other fees according to their cost structure.
